Built for Exterior Environments
Both fixture families use die-cast aluminum housings and tempered-glass lenses. They are UL Listed for wet locations and carry an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water exposure. Select models are rated for cold-weather starting down to -40°F, making them appropriate for year-round use in demanding climates.
RAB rates these fixtures for an LED lifespan of up to 100,000 hours based on applicable LM-80 and TM-21 testing methodology. The fixtures are also covered by RAB’s five-year limited warranty, subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
Selecting Between the WP2XFU and WP3XFU
The choice generally comes down to mounting height, coverage area and required output.
The WP2XFU is a strong fit for standard commercial wall-pack applications where moderate output and installation flexibility are the primary requirements.
The WP3XFU is better suited for larger properties, higher mounting positions and areas that require greater illumination.
A lighting layout or site evaluation should be used when fixture spacing, light levels, property boundaries or glare control are critical. Selecting the highest available wattage is not always the best solution. Properly matched output usually produces a more comfortable, efficient and professional result.
